This evidence-based short lecture and interactive discussion introduce the SACCIA communication competencies (Sufficiency, Accuracy, Clarity, Contextualization, and Interpersonal Adaptation) as a safety framework for everyday clinical practice. Using case exemplars, participants will explore common communication pitfalls and discuss what supports shared understanding under everyday pressures such as time constraints, hierarchies, and interprofessional teamwork.
